1.Position the belt high on the side of chest so that the rein’s tension from above provides a high center of gravity. Adjust the belt so that it is snug, yet comfortable.
2. While sitting down, place the child in front of you. Position his or her snowboard in front of them. Allow the child to gently start moving down the slope. (This is easier if there is a slope, rather than on the flats).
3. Once the Reins are tight, you will get up with your snowboard. Proceed down the slopes gently and cautiously, taking care not to surpass the ability to safely board down the slope.
4. To initiate a turn, gently pull on the left rein to turn left and the right rein to turn right. And just like that, your little boarder will be boarding on his or her own.
